What Premium Desk is

Premium Desk is a set of free calculators for people who sell options for income. It covers two strategies: covered calls and cash-secured puts.

Each strategy has a general calculator and pages for many popular stocks and funds. A ticker page adds a short profile of the company or fund and the things to check before you sell an option on it, such as earnings dates and dividends.

How the calculators work

You enter the share price, the strike price, the premium, the days to expiration and the number of contracts. The calculator shows your max profit, your return, your annualized return and your breakeven price. It also shows what happens if the shares end above, near or below the strike.

Everything runs in your browser. The numbers you type are not sent anywhere and are not saved. The site does not show live prices, so you enter your own.

The site counts page visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies. It cannot see what you type into the calculators.
